During the concert he proved himself as an excellent virtuoso, yet with a great deal of musical sensitivity. He is a pianist with a strong artistic personality, repeatedly taking up challenges of playing rather taxing compositions.

The ninth étude is marked ‘Presto possibile’, as fast as possible; Maciej played it with astonishing celerity. After the thrilling conclusion, I felt both drained and elated.
